Presidents' Message

Fellow Retirees,
​
Welcome to the website for Carroll County Retired School Personnel Association. Our purpose is to inform retirees of benefits, to protect our interests, and to socialize with former colleagues and friends. It is easy to join: dues for both local and state are only $55.00 annually.
Three meetings a year allow us to provide updates on local, state and national issues that affect us. At each meeting we enjoy a meal, socialization and entertainment.

As retirees, we need to present a united front. We enjoyed our years as educators but we cannot take our retirement income and insurance for granted. Staying informed about state legislation
regarding our pensions helps to protect these benefits. Locally, we must protect our insurance.

As we serve as your co-presidents, we hope to accomplish several goals:

To increase active membership

To strengthen participation in community service activities

To sponsor programs and/or speakers that are meaningful to members

To increase attendance at MRSPA meetings to remain informed and share information
